   Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience at TLScontact Yerevan. I attended the centre for a Declaration of Value (Dichiarazione di Valore). During the document check, I was told that something was missing from the translation of my educational document. The employee repeatedly referred to the missing requirement using an Italian term, but when I asked her to explain what exactly was missing in Armenian, she was unable to clearly explain it. I eventually had to work out myself that she appeared to be referring to a declaration confirming that the copy conforms to the original. The situation became even more concerning when I specifically asked whether this additional certification needed to be apostilled. Two employees told me that it did not. However, the published requirements indicate otherwise, and when I contacted the translator, I was also told that an Apostille would be necessary. When I returned and questioned the contradictory information, I was told that TLScontact is not responsible for preparing applicants’ documents and that they were simply referring to a previous case in which an applicant had brought the missing declaration. When I asked whether that applicant’s document had been apostilled, the employees then admitted that they did not know or remember. I completely understand that applicants are responsible for preparing their own documentation and that TLScontact does not make consular decisions. However, if an employee tells an applicant that a particular document or certification is missing, they should be able to clearly identify the requirement and should not confidently provide information about legalization requirements if they are unsure whether that information is correct. Incorrect information in a consular/document process can cost applicants significant time and money. Unfortunately, this was also not my first negative experience with TLScontact’s customer service. My previous interactions with the call centre have frequently felt unnecessarily unfriendly and dismissive. Applicants pay a service fee and should at least be able to expect clear, consistent and professional communication. I do want to specifically mention that the security employee and the woman working in the administration/passport collection area were extremely professional, polite and helpful. My complaint concerns the document-intake experience and the quality and consistency of information provided. TLScontact Yerevan seriously needs better staff training, particularly regarding document requirements, communication with applicants, and basic customer service.

   Информацию не узнать, все отсылают на сайт, на сайте невозможно записаться на прием даже на супер платный. При заполнении анкет, одни и те же поля по нескольку раз заполняются. Зачем так усложнять людям жизнь. Не понимаю почему консульства разных стран доверяют таким дилетантам часть своей работы.
